Goal: The development of a language technological system that/which formalises the doctor’s free text case-sheet entries as a result of which they can become the imput of an automaticised processing.

Theme, title: Intelligent modular open source Platform for intercultural and cross-domain SME Networks (ImportNET)
Goals: Developing a platform for small- and medium-sized enterprises dealing with mechatronic designe with which they can manage, comply and follow-up electronic, mechanical and soft wear plans.
Role:
1. The management of the WP implementation
2. The development of the OIT module from elaboration to implementation. The OIT helps to select from a general mechatronic ontology the relevant partial ontology. The module containes the following parts: user friendly inter face that enables naiv users (not knowledge engeeniers) to use the ontology in a limited way: to select notions, adopt copies; document processor which is capable of searching for relevant notions and labelling the onological elements referring to them, the automatic cration of partial ontologies based upon the chosen ontological elements
